When I left the barn at 1:00 and came in to post the photos there was still one calf in the field. Tom came home from work and went out to check on them at 4:00, and there are now two. The first one is brown and smaller and appears to be a heifer calf. The second one appears larger and blacker and is definitely a bull calf. So we may have a freemartin on our hands, but nonetheless we are thrilled to have twin calves!
