Aunts’ Visit

My three aunts came to visit today.  We went out to lunch at the Rhododendron Cafe, had a tour of our fiber studio and then of our farm.  Here they are picking wool off of our fenceline.  It was a fun day and very nice to see them again.

    Oh, for crying out loud!
The least you could do is give your poor aunts some WOOL!
Making the poor gals pick it off the fence….

    Have a wonderful weekend!

Looks like spring already in your neck of the woods! It’s minus 20 celcius here today..brrrrrr.
I wish members of my family were interested in my wool and sheep 🙂

There are signs of spring here but we are concerned that they may not last. Quite a few of the sheep are rooing so I am not sure how the fleeces are going to look next month. And I only have some interested relatives. But they were not interested in scooping poop even after a few hints.

    Hi, there,
Knowing your 3 aunts (for over 50 years) I am sure they would have picked wool off the fences even if you gave them 3 bags full. They are ‘doers”, not just “lookers” (though they are that, too).
Being with them is an absolute blast !!!!

Hi Paul! They are definitely doers. I love the yellow hazmat boots Al got for them. We did have a blast ( as always). It is too bad they live so far. I would love to see them more often.

Happy Valentine’s Day for yesterday, Donna.

It’s lovely to see all your pictures and now videos too!

The photos are great. Must be that new camera of yours.
