End of Summer

Today we did the above with apples, plums, corn, green beans, cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, rosemary, thyme, sage, chives and garlic.

Hunting season is also upon us so I knitted some soft, durable, well-fitting socks for Tom for the forays into the woods.

camo socksWith our relatively dry hot summer our grass is not growing well.  So we have been supplementing with hay.  Here are the critters eating hay along the fenceline.
