Today was fall sheep maintenance day here. We tried to entice sheep one by one through the gate onto the stand with grain. It worked for 8 sheep, but the rest had to be caught and moved onto the stand. So 30 sheep had their hooves trimmed, their worming medication given, and their inspections for body condition, wool quality and conjunctival color. Overall they looked good with no unexpected issues. One sheep escaped and there are 2 old skinny sheep and three rams yet to do. But I am very sore and tired, and this can wait until tomorrow.
