Overwhelmed

is how I am feeling trying to keep up with the animals, garden and orchard with both of us working full-time.

We picked another ~80 pounds of plums today from Tom’s sister’s tree.

Meanwhile Tom rented this excavator for farm work this weekend.

I can certainly see why all of this would be overwhelming! You two are pretty amazing.

We definitely understand “overwhelmed”…and are right there with you. Take comfort in the fact that you are accomplishing so much! Bravo you!

It certainly is never-ending on a farm. I’m in a panic as I get ready to go back to teaching. I’m not ready at all for that.

So glad to be following somebody like me. Work full time in addition to the home & farm! I OFTEN feel just this way! I’ve learned that I have to use a “flashlight” vision rather than a “floodlight”. If I think about ALL that has to be done, my mind wants to shut down & give up, so I simply focus on what I CAN do at the moment & celebrate each step! I also have to remind my self that sometimes things have to wait. Maybe because of money, weather or taking my daughter to an activity, I take a deep breathe & know that God will help my family through it while we do our best! Keep on Keeping On.
