First I sheared our two Gotland-Finn-Shetland lambs. I thought I was going to like Maybelle’s black fleece best, but then I saw the Gotland grey sheen on Wynette’s and was mesmerized. Here they are sheared (I left neck muffs on purpose).
Then I picked the quince off of our ex-pear tree.
This is the first time I have ever seen a quince. The plan is to make quince wine. I then laid out the lambs fleeces to dry.
I will dry, skirt, weigh and judge these fleeces. Then I will bring them to the Holiday Festival to sell.
Now I will root the Seahawks to victory. Go Hawks!!!
