Spike’s ribbon

Here’s Spike checking out the swatch that Denise of in Sheep’s Clothing made from his fleece and the resulting blue ribbon she won.  I am not sure if he’s impressed or not. Maybe he can still smell some of his scent on it?

Denise obtained this fleece for free for putting in a lot of hard work wrangling sheep during our spring shearing day.  You too could go home with the fleece of your choice if you would like to help out.  Just let me know!

P.S. If you haven’t already, check out the infamous Story of Spike.  I am so glad his story has a happy ending, and Denise probably is too.

Thanks for the link to the Spike story- I looked for it before but thought it might have been lost when you moved your blog to wordpress!

    • Thanks Jackie. I never gave up on him partially out of extreme guilt. Spike is the inspiration here, he wanted to survive and make fleeces. And Denise did an amazing job with this fleece.
